You do not have to pay the high price of admission to theme parks. There are many ways to get discount Six Flags tickets. These discounts are available for many of their parks in the U.S. Follow one or all of the steps to get yourself a nice discount on family fun.
Instructions
1. Log on to eBay or craigslist and check for deals. Often, there are not only discount tickets available, but sellers offering season or parking passes. Make sure you know the current ticket price at the gate, so you can be sure you are indeed paying a lower price.
2. Show your AAA or auto-club membership card at the Six Flags admission gate to receive a discount on your tickets.
3. Purchase advance tickets through your local parks-and-recreation department, city hall or grocery store. They will typically give you a 20 to 30 percent discount per ticket. For a limited time you can also get discount season Six Flags passes.
4. Look through your local discount-coupon entertainment book or travel guide. They will often offer $5 to $10 off park admission.
5. Check the backs of Coke products or cereal boxes. There are often discount coupons for adults and children. Be sure to double-check the expiration dates, terms and conditions.
6. Have your child join the six-hour reading club at school. Record all of the books she has read and the time she spent reading during the school year. When your child has read for six hours, she will receive a coupon for a free child's admission. Make sure you turn the reading log in on time to get the ticket. Check the expiration date of the ticket, as it is only good for a limited time.
7. Check with your human-resources department at work to see if they are selling discount Six Flags admission tickets. These often have more generous expiration dates and discounts.
8. Apply for a Six Flags Mastercard credit card. It can offer a variety of discounts and benefits for Six Flags visitors.
