Create A Diet Calendar

If you are trying to lose weight, you probably want to be able to track your progress. To do this, you should consider creating a diet calendar. A diet calendar can be used to record the food that you consume each day, your workouts and how much weight you have lost. You can create a diet calendar on your own or download a software program to manage one for you.

Instructions

1. Decide on the type of calendar that you wish to use for your diet. You can use a monthly or daily view calendar on your PC in order to keep track of your progress. A calendar organizer, such as Mozilla Sunbird, can be downloaded for free and used for your diet.

2. Set a goal date. The first part of creating the diet calendar is choosing a goal and the date that you want to reach that goal. Mark it on your calendar and record your desired weight for that date.

3. Record the number of calories you consumed as well as a listing on the calendar of each food you ate. You can check packaging to calculate calories or use a free online tool to get figures.

4. Enter your exercise data into the diet calendar. You will want to include how much time you spent exercising as well as the type of exercise that you performed.

5. Choose weigh-in dates and put them on the calendar. You will want to record your weight at given times over the course of your diet. For example, you can decide to weigh yourself every Friday and enter this figure into your calendar.

6. Consider a diet calendar software program. For example, Weight Loss Software not only allows you to enter your diet data, but also provides automatic nutritional information for the foods you consume and estimated calories burned during your workout routines.
