Foggers To Disinfect The Home

Household cleaners do not adequately disinfect the home.

The hours you spend each week cleaning your home may result in shiny counters, but chances are you are still missing quite a few germs. Germs travel on bags, clothes, shoes and anything else moved from one location to another. They also thrive on often used devices such as remote controls, cell phones and laptops. The most diligent cleaning will not eliminate all germs, however, you can significantly reduce them by combining your cleaning efforts with a disinfectant fogger.

Disinfectant Fogger Canisters

Fogger canisters are a quick and simple way to disinfect a room. Disinfectant foggers reduce or eliminate microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungus, mold and mildew. The canisters are activated by pressing a button on the canister, which releases a fog into the room. The fog covers everything, disinfecting and deodorizing at the same time.

Ultra Low Volume Fogging Devices

Ultra low volume sprayers, are lightweight, portable aerosol sprayers that allow you to disinfect areas quickly, both indoors and out. Low pressure is applied to a high volume of air to push solution through a nozzle to create precisely sized tiny droplets, creating a mist. Spray the mist in the center of the room, avoiding electronics. The disinfectant hangs in the air before settling on and disinfecting the objects in the room.

Thermal Fogging Devices

Quickly penetrate hard to reach areas with thermal fogging. Thermal fogging devices use heat to create a visible, fog-like dry mist. These fogging machines produce a large amount of fog, and are useful in a large variety of settings. The heat from the device does not affect the chemicals in the disinfecting solution, so it does not lose effectiveness. Thermal fog reaches difficult areas such as cracks in the ceiling and crevices in furniture, walls and the floor. Use thermal foggers without risking exposure to the chemicals by standing in one location and allowing the fog to spread into the room.

Precautions

Read all instructions carefully before using any room foggers.Turn off fans and air conditioning before activating fogger. People and pets should leave the room prior to fogging.

Tips

Clean areas to be disinfected prior to activating fogger for best results. Do not place bookbags, purses, briefcases, and other carrying cases on beds, counters or other such areas to avoid spreading germs. Remove shoes and outer garments before entering your home to reduce the spread of bacteria.
