1987 Ford Econoline Van (5.0L V8)

Accelerates fine on open road but stalls at stopping. Jerks at slow speeds. Have to step on gas to keep it running when starting. Assume it has something to do with the throttle body. Any insight/suggestions appreciated. Tom When was the last time it was tuned up? Got it figured out. It is the idle air control valve. Apparently there was a recall. Replacement part through Ford is about $70. Thanks.
