Identify Symptoms Of Gallbladder Infection

Gallbladder conditions can be anywhere from bothersome to severely painful for the sufferer. Understanding your symptoms and being able to talk about them freely with your doctor will ensure you get a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Instructions

Identify Symptoms of a Gallbladder Infection

1. Notice any specific pains and report them to your doctor. When dealing with a gallbladder condition the pain will usually be located in the back between the shoulder blades, under the right shoulder, or in the upper abdomen.

2. Discuss any bloating of the abdomen you may experience with your doctor. This is a sign of a gallbladder infection as well as other conditions and should be assessed by a physician.

3. Report any nausea or vomiting to your doctor, especially if you have been experiencing the symptoms for a while. They may come and go, but will generally return.

4. Tell your doctor about any unusual or excessive belching or gas. While belching and gas is perfectly normal for humans, doing it excessively or a sudden change is a sign for concern. Although it's embarrassing, it should be discussed with your doctor.

5. Tell your doctor about any indigestion you experience. It's really easy to blame this symptom on a particular food, but it can also be a sign of a gallbladder infection.
