Back and neck pain are some of the most common health complaints seen in doctors' offices around the country. Many of these complaints are caused by cervical disc degeneration disease. Cervical disc degeneration disease becomes more common with age or trauma, but can be managed.
Symptoms

Diagnosis

Treatment

Prognosis
The prognosis depends on the severity of the disease. Cervical disc degeneration disease is not fatal, but it can cause a decreased quality of life due to chronic pain. Most patients are able to find some relief with treatment and live productive lives.
