Hyssop is another herb that nourishes the lungs. It additionally has a soothing affect on the throat. For centuries, hyssop has been utilized as a natural remedy for all manner of respiratory problems. Hyssop can be ingested in the form of tea (simply take some of the dried herb and add to boiling water) or in the form of an essential oil (typically available at any herbal store). Hyssop should not be used on a daily basis for more than four weeks at a time.


Slippery Elm


Known for its ability to remove mucus from the lungs, slippery elm additionally soothes irritated tissue and strengthens the respiratory system as a whole.
