Get Ebay Feedback Removed

In general, feedback at eBay can not be removed. Once it is entered it becomes part of your permanent record. However there are two ways to occasionally have feedback removed. If both you and your trading partner are in agreement over feedback removal you can participate in Mutual Feedback Withdrawal. If feedback left for you violates the eBay feedback policy, you can request eBay remove it.

Instructions

Mutual Feedback Withdrawal

1. Communicate with your trading partner to make sure they are in agreement to participate in mutual feedback withdrawal. You have to submit the request for withdrawal within 30 days of either party leaving feedback or within 90 days of when the auction ended, whichever comes first.

2. Initiate the mutual feedback withdrawal process by clicking on the link in the eBay Help Section for "mutual feedback withdrawal.

3. Enter the item number for the auction the feedback was left on and click continue.

4. Write an optional message to the other party if you wish and then click continue again.

5. Wait for your trading partner to complete their portion of the process. EBay will contact them to notify them you have filed for mutual feedback withdrawal.

Report Feedback to EBay

6. Go to the eBay Help section and review the "Feedback Removal Policy" to see if the feedback you want removed is in violation of the feedback policy.

7. Click on the "Report" link on any of the feedback policy pages in the Help Section.

8. Provide eBay with the information they need to investigate the case. This will include the user name of your trading partner and the item number of the auction the feedback was left for. They will also need copies of any relevant email correspondence sent from your trading partner.

9. Wait for eBay's investigation to be conducted. They will email you when the investigation is complete to let you know if your feedback is being removed or not.
