Make Essential Oil Face Moisturizer

Make Essential Oil Face Moisturizer

Essential oils have many internal and topical uses, including as ingredients for light facial moisturizers. Lemon essential oil is particularly effective as a moisturizer ingredient because of its antiseptic, astringent, anti-bacterial, detoxifying, and rejuvenating properties. Lavender essential oil is also effective as it contains antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and calming properties, and can promote healing of acne and other skin disorders including burns and eczema. Keep your essential oil moisturizer in a spritzer bottle for use during the day as a skin refresher or during or after workouts. This moisturizer will keep skin fresh and hydrated without harsh or harmful additives.

Instructions

1. Measure a 1/2 cup of water and pour it into a spray bottle.

2. Add 3 tsp. of glycerin to the bottle.

3. Add 5 or more drops of lemon or lavender essential oil to the bottle and shake well. Always shake the bottle before spraying the moisturizer on your skin.
