Control Your Vibrations

Personal vibrations can be controlled with light meditation.

Consciously controlling your bodily vibrations is thought to be an effective way to mediate subtle energy transfer and renewal, which can be a catalyst for physical and emotional healing. The emergence of new laws in physics that support theories of vibrational medicine has led to techniques like polarity and shiatsu massage, based upon improving vibrational frequencies, becoming more common. Controlling one's own vibrations can be accomplished by practicing self-administered vibrational healing techniques, like those based on the chakra system. Other self-reflective practice is thought to raise vibrations, as is emerging brain wave entrainment technology.

Instructions

1. Center yourself and try to relax your mind and body. Begin by breathing deeply; adequate oxygen delivery to vital organs will begin to raise your vibration to a comfortable, relaxed level. At this point, some researchers recommend adding musical accompaniment that will help to entrain brainwaves to become more relaxed and receptive. Music that has binaural beats encourages brain waves to level out in the theta brain wave range, which is associated with meditative and hypnotic states.

2. Be aware of the energy traveling throughout your body. Many people begin to feel their energetic vibration in their fingertips. The awareness is often described as feeling like electrostatic energy or emanating heat. The energy can also often be felt as it radiates through the chakra system, causing various chakras to rotate and vibrate characteristically. If a chakra is partially blocked, its vibration may feel different, almost stagnant.

3. Focus on breathing into your chakra system. Subtle energy is thought to be carried on the breath. As you breathe, imagine a crisp, soothing stream of energy coming into and dispersing within your body. Visualize your chakras becoming energized and feel your overall vibration rising.

4. Bring your vibrational energy down by grounding yourself. Sometimes, maintaining a high vibration can be distracting during everyday interactions and activities. If you find yourself vibrating too quickly, take a deep breath and imagine energy coming into your feet from deep within the earth. Try to feel the effects of gravity on your organs and extremities. Continue breathing until a lowered overall vibration is achieved.

5. Engage in positive self-talk throughout the day. Positive affirmations about things like career, relationships and personal spiritual awareness can help to keep your body vibrations high, even at times when meditation is difficult. Maintain a dialogue with yourself that acknowledges your weaknesses with a gentle voice and voice encouragement when something positive transpires.
