Prolonged pressure on the legs can lead to varicose veins. If they are a problem for you, you can get rid of varicose veins by using natural remedies.
Instructions
1. Rub varicose veins daily with a natural anti-inflammatory. You can use witch hazel as an anti-inflammatory. It helps keep veins strong. Use it a least three times a day. Horse chestnut is another natural anti-inflammatory that also strengthens veins.
2. Eat oranges and grapefruit regularly. They contain bioflavoniods which strengthen the walls of the veins. Eat a variety of other fresh fruits and vegetables to get plenty of antioxidants which will also help. Also eat fish that contain omega-3 fatty acids such as salmon, tuna and mackerel. This will help aid circulation.
3. Exercise your legs often to increase circulation. Lie on your back, straighten your legs and place your heels against the wall. This will allow blood to flow away from the swollen veins and it takes the pressure off of the over worked valves. Also, go for frequent walks.
