Remove Bite Marks

Bite marks can be caused by different situations. At the most basic level, bite marks are simply an aggravation to the skin when pressure is applied to bring the blood to the surface of the skin. There are several things you can do to remove bite marks no matter what type of situation you obtained them in.

Instructions

1. Hold an ice cube to the affected area of the skin, moving the ice in circular motions to combat swelling and redness.

2. Place a spoon in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. Then, stick the bottom of the spoon directly on the bite mark. This will give the same result as the ice cube, but is not as messy. When the spoon gets warm, put it back in the freezer and rotate on and off as much as you need to avoid swelling and bruising.

3. Apply heat as desired. Place a warm beverage mug on the bite mark. Alternate having the heat on and off every 10 to 15 minutes. This will stimulate blood flow to the top of the skin and quicken healing.

4. Lightly brush the area with an old, soft and clean toothbrush. Use an up and down motion to increase the blood flow to speed up healing. Do not apply too much pressure or the area will become red and tender.
