3. TAKE FIBER SUPPLEMENTS - Taking fiber supplements will help you to have an easier bowel movement. You should only take fiber supplements for short periods of time. They are not meant as a long term cure. To have easy to pass bowel movements on a regular basis, eat more fruits and vegetables.
4. OINTMENTS - Use an over the counter cream or ointment to relieve the pain and itching of hemorrhoids. Over the counter medications work well for hemorrhoids.
5. SURGERY - Ask your doctor about surgery if you are unable to get relief from your hemorrhoids at home.
