The Volcano Vaporizer is a vaporizing machine for herbs that can be used for smoking and cooking. The vaporizer consists of a conical base that acts as the control unit and a bag where the vapor is released into. The bag is then removed and can be inhaled through a mouthpiece or dispersed and used for cooking and aromatherapy. To get the most out of the Volcano Vaporizer, it is helpful to follow a few tips.
Use a Grinder
It is of utmost importance that the material that will be vaporized is ground into a fine substance. This is only possible by using a grinder. The purpose of a grinder is to break up large pieces of herb into smaller bits and pieces. The smaller the substance is, the easier it is to become vaporized. A grinder also conserves your smoking material because only about 0.3 grams of smoking material is needed to load into the vaporizer. Grinders can be found at smoke shops and online vendors for a relatively cheap price.
Adjusting the Vapor Levels
Select how much vapor you want to fill up the bag by turning the dial on the front of the vaporizer. This dial is at the center of the device and is able to be set on nine different positions. If you want a relatively low amount of vapor, simply set it on one of the lower settings under the fifth position. If you want a denser and thicker vapor to be produced, set it to one of the higher settings over the fifth position. There is no right setting. It all depends on your preferences. Just remember the higher the setting, the more vapor is produced and it could be too much to inhale if you plan on smoking it.
Monitor the Vapor Bag
When the Volcano Vaporizer bag is filling up, pull the sides of the bag over the vaporizer cone. This is to prevent the bag from falling out so you will not have to keep constantly starting over. Keep a steady eye on the bag while it is filling up and do not leave it unattended. Every so often adjust the bag and make sure that it is centered. This is to make sure that every part of the bag is expanded with vapor. You will have to adjust the bag more often when it is about three quarters of the way filled. Straighten out the bag and make sure that it is filled to its capacity.
