Go Into Labor Sooner

We have much more control over many aspects of pregnancy these days, including knowing the time of ovulation and determining the sex of the baby. Many mothers require a caesarian section birth for medical reasons, and these procedures can be scheduled at a convenient time. But some pregnant women get tired of carrying a large load around and are eager to go into labor sooner, especially if they’re near their due date. Here are some steps to make that happen.

Instructions

1. Realize your body will go into labor when it feels ready. Being unhealthy or ill could cause your body to go into labor in order to rid itself of the extra load. Being very healthy and emotionally well can also cause you to go into labor sooner, because your body feels it will be able to handle the rigors of labor.

2. Maintain your emotional well being. Stay active with a moderate exercise program approved by your doctor. Exercise is a proven depression lifter.

3. Make sure you are as prepared for the baby’s arrival as possible. This will allow you to emotionally relax and allow the baby to come.

4. Go for a walk. Walking daily is probably the best form of exercise to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system and prevent blood clots from forming during pregnancy. Walking also helps to relax you emotionally.

5. Allow nature to run its course and labor to come naturally whenever possible. However, if you must have your baby as soon as possible, ask your doctor to induce labor by giving you an injection of oxytocin.
