Stimulate Different Parts Of Brain







It is important to regularly stimulate your brain.


It is important for your mental health that you stimulate as many different parts of your brain as possible. Regular brain stimulation can help prevent mental illnesses such as Alzheimer's disease and dementia, and is incredibly easy to do, with everyday exercises helping to keep you sharp.


Instructions


1. Rearrange your desk at work. The new positioning of your items will help to stimulate your brain, as you remember where you placed your items.








2. Switch hands when carrying out simple tasks, such as brushing your teeth or opening doors. This will help to activate parts of your brain that have grown accustomed to your usual routines.


3. Complete crossword puzzles, word searches or Sudoku to give your brain a good workout when you have some time to kill. These help to stimulate the left side of your brain.


4. Learn a musical instrument or a new language. The learning and study involved will stimulate the majority of your brain and keep you mentally healthy.
