1. Plan your other meals around when and where you eat out on that particular day. By doing this, you can save up as many points as you need for your meal at the restaurant.
2. Examine a menu of the restaurant where you will be eating. Find out which meals are best for you and your particular Weight Watchers plan.
3. Log onto the website of the restaurant and find any nutritional information that is available. You can actually enter the points of your upcoming meal into your Weight Watchers account. This is an easy way to determine what you can eat while you're out as well as how you should eat during that particular day.
4. When you get to the restaurant, refrain from ordering an alcoholic beverage. For those doing Weight Watchers, alcoholic drinks take up an unnecessary amount of points.
5. Don't be afraid to ask questions when at the restaurant. Asking if the restaurant carries fat-free salad dressings, for example, can save you some Weight Watchers points.
6. Be willing to bring some of your food home with you. Remember that a large part of Weight Watchers is portion control. That doesn't mean that you can't order whatever you want. Eat the same amount of food as you normally would and then bring the rest home.
7. Eat just as you would if you were cooking a meal. Make wise choices while eating out and you shouldn't stray from your Weight Watchers plan.
