Symptoms Of Stage Iv Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer is a serious form of cancer usually found in older men. If caught early, it is easily treatable. But the longer the disease goes undiagnosed, the harder it is to recover. Stage IV prostate cancer is the most serious, but if detected in time, it is still possible to make a full recovery.

Trouble Urinating

One of the most commonly ignored symptoms of prostate cancer is having trouble urinating. This is often considered a simple side effect of growing older.

Blood in the Urine

A man with undiagnosed prostate cancer may notice blood in his urine, even if he is not having trouble urinating.

Severe Abdominal/Back Pain

By Stage IV, the prostate cancer has most likely spread to other areas of the body. The cancer usually spreads to the lower abdomen and lower back, causing severe pain.

Nausea

Stage IV prostate cancer will ravage the body, causing more than simple urinary problems. One of these problems is nausea, which can lead to vomiting and a lack of proper nutrition.

Weakness

As the body tries to fight off the cancer, the sufferer becomes increasingly weak. He will become tired more quickly, become unable to move around as easily and eventually could become bedridden.
