Clean False Teeth With Denture Brushes

False teeth require special care and attention. Most sets of false teeth are best cleaned using denture brushes. Proper brushing will assure your teeth's appearance and will help them to last longer.

Instructions

1. Remove your false teeth from your mouth and run some warm tap water over them for a few seconds. This removes any large food particles stuck to the teeth.

2. Put a small amount of denture cleaning paste or liquid soap onto a denture brush.

3. Brush the top teeth first using a gentle back and forth motion. Make sure you run the brush over all of the front teeth. Then proceed to clean the backside of the upper teeth.

4. Move to the sides of the upper teeth. Brush both the front and back side of all of the side teeth using the same back and forth motion.

5. Pick up the lower teeth and brush them the same way you brushed the upper teeth. Start with the front side of the front teeth and then move to the backside of the front teeth. Follow through with brushing the front and backside of the side teeth on the lower jaw.

6. Massage the gum area of the false teeth with the brush. Brush the areas that come into contact with your mouth's mucus membranes.

7. Soak your false teeth in warm water with a denture tablet overnight for additional cleaning.
