Fever
One of the signs of gallbladder pain that usually means an infection is present is a fever. You may feel chills in addition to a fever if you have a gallbladder infection.
Abdominal Pain
If you've got gallbladder problems, you'll probably feel pain in the upper right side or the middle of your abdominal region. The pain usually worsens after eating, especially if you've had foods with a high fat content.
Radiating Pain
Severe gallbladder pain may radiate through your shoulder area on the right side of your body. Some people also feel chest pain in response to gallbladder symptoms.
Digestive Discomfort
A full range of digestive symptoms are consistent with gallbladder disease, including nausea, gas, heartburn and vomiting.
Tenderness
Upon examination, the area of your abdomen that corresponds to the location of your gallbladder will be very tender to the touch.
